University of Ljubljana has decided to make the use of multi-factor authentication (MFA) mandatory for all users. For those who have not yet done so, please activate it as soon as possible, or at the latest by 25 November 2024, when it will be mandatory to use it to access UL services. In case of problems, please report the error via Report problems form.

Password reset

If you have already activated your digital identity and you forgot the password you may use this page to reset the password. Fill out your personal information in the form below. You will also need to know your username. The username resembles an email address, e.g. jn1234@student.uni-lj.si. If you forgot both the username and the password please contact the University helpdesk.

Personal information

We need your personal information in order to find your digital identity in our databases.

Username

Usernames look like email addresses. An example of a username that belongs to John Smith is: js1234@student.uni-lj.si.

New password

Your password protects your digital identity. Please select a strong password that you will be able to remember. Avoid passwords that are easy to guess such as your first name, your last name, the name of your partner, your date of birth, etc. Your password needs to be at least 10 characters long and it must not include your first or last name and has to fulfill at least 3 of the given criteria:

  • uppercase letters of the English alphabet,
  • lowercase letters of the English alphabet,
  • numbers,
  • symbols: -_.+@.

Please enter the password twice in order to avoid typos.
